Our client is a recruitment and headhunting firm that works with corporate offices in multiple locations. They currently receive profiles via email and various other sources and were looking for a web-based solution to centralize all of these profiles in a common database. Using AWS, we created an application that pulls all incoming resumes and stores them in a data lake, irrespective of their formats. We also developed a unique searching algorithm that allows the client to sift through the candidates using multiple complex queries. We used Amazon’s AWS infrastructure extensively to store, index, and retrieve data with a responsive web interface. We used Amazon AWS3, Lambda, and elastic search technologies for this implementation.
