We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented BIDS Executive to join our team, specializing in U.S. bidding processes. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and supporting bid proposals and related documentation that drive business growth.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements, create compelling bid submissions, and maintain high standards of quality in all deliverable.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end bidding process for U.S. contracts, ensuring timely and accurate completion of bid documents and submissions.
- Develop and write clear, concise, and compelling bid responses that effectively showcase our IT services and solutions.
- Craft executive summaries, value propositions, and technical narratives that resonate with U.S. clients and demonstrate our unique capabilities.
- Understand requirements and create accurate, complete, and customer-focused responses to formal RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and informal proposals specific to U.S. government and private sector opportunities.
- Collaborate with key internal business partners, such as Sales, Operations, Legal, Finance, Design, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), to drive proposal strategy and create compelling submissions.
- Assist in implementing, creating, maintaining, and enhancing an electronic repository of standard proposal content for U.S. RFPs, RFIs, sole source, and other contracting and procurement processes.
- Maintain and update bidding process documentation and templates to align with U.S. regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and produce final proposal documents (both hard copy and electronic), ensuring successful delivery by the proposal deadline.
Professional Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in bid management and proposal development, preferably within the IT or consulting sectors.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Strong proficiency in writing and editing, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and value propositions tailored to client needs.
- Proven experience in managing the end-to-end bid process, including responding to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs, with a focus on quality and compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in creating and maintaining proposal content repositories and templates to streamline the bidding process.
- Understanding of U.S. government contracting and procurement processes is highly desirable.
- Prior experience in a senior or leadership role in bid management is an added advantage, and certifications in proposal management or related fields are highly desirable.
